RED RIBBONS
8" bloom, 42" bloom, Mid Season, Evergreen
Huge, swirling, ribbon-like blooms held on tall scapes make Red Ribbons a real eye-catcher in the garden. Its long, thin petals and sepals make it a perfect example of a "spider" type daylily.

Tully, NY — Grows like a weed! This daylily does seem to have a lot of foilage compared to the blossoms. I have some in full hot sun near our pool and it grows well there. I have been mixing them with my roadside orange lilies in shady area's and they have been holding their own with the orange too.
-
Goodlettsville, TN — We have had Red Ribbons in our garden for two years now and we also have not had as many blooms as expected. Of course it is held high and the blooms catch your attention, but just want more. Perhaps as the plant matures....
-
Lamar, AR — Be patinet with this lily. Because, when it blooms it will knock your socks off with the huge, colorful blooms.
-
Fresno, CA — WOW!!! I waited for the third season to see this one in all her glory. It is worth the wait! It stands out like a beacon, begging all to come closer and take a look. Too many compliments to believe from passers-by. A must have!
-
Trussville, AL — In my gardens Red Ribbons has been a absolute show stopper from the beginning. It bloomed well the first season, the second season, and now in it's third season it has been totally breath-taking! Absolutely covered in blooms for a long time. It has grown so well than I plan to divide it this fall to spread these gorgeous blooms around in the gardens. Give it full sun all day and watch it strut!

Melville, NY — I'm in my second year with Red Ribbons, and still waiting for an explosion of color. But, with patience, I'm sure they will produce. Their neighbors are Red Volunteer and Happy Returns, both of which are doing phenominally well. So I assume Red Ribbons simply needs a bit more time and a few more "hugs." I'll check back again next year. This fall and next spring it will get a treat of compost; and we'll see. I'll bet it will give me more blooms; and will get a high rating like all the others.
-
The Villages, FL — I was terribly disappointed with my Red Ribbons. I planted three and only one bloomed. This one put out only two flowers! How sad! And I love spiders. I'm moving to a new home nearby in October and I doubt I'll try any more of these. Maybe there are some other spiders that will do better.

Charlotte, MI — This is the 5th year and still not many blooms. The ones that show up are dramatic but only 5
