Signal Mountain, TN — This was the first year for this beauty in our garden. The first four or five blooms were very disappointing, splotchy and disfigured. Then we were delighted to see all the remaining blossoms were stunning. This bi-color was an eye-catcher and the petal's color seemed to deepen as they aged. Extremely glad that this variety was added to the garden. Definitely looking forward to splitting this one up and spreading this beauty around.

Grantham, NH — THe flowers are small, but breath-taking. I had 5 buds open at once the first year and they are amazing. I can't wait for it to grow so I can divide it. Of the 2 dozen varieties I have, this is my favorite even though the flowers are small.

Sherburn, MN — Profuse bloomer with lovely, dainty little flowers! I did not expect to like Prairie Blossoms as much as I do...it was the first daylily to bloom this year and definitely packed a punch!

Huntington, WV — It is early in the season, but I am very disappointed in this lily. Mine is very washed out and the shape is totally different. It is very small, almost like a mini, and doesn't have the 3 rounded, frilly edges like this picture at all. Perhaps I was sent the wrong lily. At any rate, I hope it improves with age.

rancho palos verdes, CA — Prairie Blossoms is an amazing performer in my garden. It's planted in full sun at the base of a stone wall and from the time leaves emerge in the Spring, til late in the Fall, Prairie Blossoms is covered with blooms. Since it is a dormant daylily, it's always a wonderful surprise to see the buds emerging with the leaves. Great plant! Highly recommended for Southern California gardens.

Fenton, MI — This past summer was my first season with this one. It bloomed and was definitely a very pretty flower but the colors were not as bright nor as well defined as it seems in the picture. It's still a very nice addition to my garden but not quite the impact I was expecting.

Flushing, NY — Fairly profuse blooms during early season, but not much of a rebloomer in my garden. Color is very nice. Mine don't get to 25" tall, only about 20".

Waldorf, MD — I love this daylilly! The colors on mine are a deep rose and rich apricot, and the number of blooms is fantastic! I buy all my daylillies from Oakes, and am never disappointed. The clumps are so large when they arrive that I usually gift one or 2 to my neighbor!

West Babylon, NY — The blooms on this daylily were beautiful, but, like the other rebloomers I planted this year, it didn't! It has been unseasonably mild this fall, but still nothing is forthcoming. Ah, well! maybe next year?

Montrose, MN — Bought this one new this year and already in bloom. The quality of plants received from Oakes cannot compare to any other nursery and Prairie Blossoms was no exception. Large fans were planted and beautiful flowers emurged, true to their name and description.

Destin, FL — Very vibrant yellow-orange, beautiful in a large grouping. Great compliment for other colors!

Bridgeport, NY — This daylily didn't look like it's picture at all.

The color was very washed out, and more buff than peach. I only recieved it last year and am hoping it gets better with age.

Owensboro, KY — Better than a 10. A real attention getter with strong vivd coloring. The photo doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this one.
