Hendersonville, TN — A beautiful large white bloom and my plant has three more scapes. A wise choice to start my day lily bed off to a wonderful garden spot.
Claudia Hanks -
Manhattan Beach, CA — Large lovely blooms but it was definitely yellow for me. I'm speculating from other's reviews (and their locations) that Joan is whiter where there is more heat. Or maybe it's my soil?
-
Mobile, AL — This is one of my favorites, in part because the leaves stay beautiful all winter long in southeastern Alabama.
-
Angwin, CA — This beauty has a special gift for those who catch it in the early morning sunlight... It sparkles. It will take your breath away. The blooms are large and just stunning. There is no question in my mind why it has won so many awards.
-
Kingston, TN — Joan Senior is by far my favorite white daylilly. She is a delight to behold, giving my garden a delicate touch that is hard to duplicate. Not as prolific as some, she has proven her worth in color, form, and dependability.
-
Blakely, GA — If I were only allowed a single daylily in my garden, Joan Senior would be it. This plant puts out perfect bloom after bloom for months, and everyone raves over how white the color is! This is hands-down the best-performing daylily I've ever seen! You can't go wrong with this one!

Suwanee, GA — First year growing Joan Senior. Probably the most blooms of the beginner collection so far (tieing with Ruffled Apricot). The blooms are strikingly white on very short scapes which accentuates the fans. Very nice balance of bloom to foliage. Nice accent for the front of the flower bed.
