Fredericksburg, VA — Planted my LOCs this spring; started blooming a month later. The blooms are large; I found them melting in evening sun. Maybe it's because they're new... Hope they toughen up.
Wish I can give a review of Artist Etching. It's a 10. Beautiful color, great substance, stands up to our heat - literally! Not sure if being nocturnal have anything to do with it. Planted last fall and couldn't be happier. -
MIDDLETON, TN — ONE OF MY BEST REBLOOMERS. I JUST LOOK AT IT AND GO YES, YES . THANK GOD FOR EYES TO SEE THESE CHARMERS.

-
Tinley Park, IL — Super-pretty! This is the second year for my set of 3 plants. I should have planted them closer to the house. We can see them from out of our kitchen window and my husband likes them. Lots of blooms, started blooming early June and is just finishing up mid-July.

Toledo, OH — We have have been growing about seven bunches (each of them were three to four healthy divisions originally) of Leebea Orange Crush for about three years in Toledo, Ohio. We bought these plants from Oakes. This year (i.e. the third year) had been simply fantastic, they grew much bigger than I expected and had many large blooms. These started blooming early and are still in full blooms in mid July. Many of thems are showing some re-blooming signs with new scapes. The color is simply outstanding and many people stopped their cars or stopped their jogging to appreciate the show. Although we must admit that the color of our Persian Markets is much superior (we mean pleasant) , but the Persian Markets are not throwing out so many blooms.
I have several other types of day lilies, but the Leebea Orange Crush almost excels all others. Obviously, we take care of these plants passionately. The ones around the rose bushes bloomed most, perhaps responding to the regular watering and fertilization that were actually meant for the fussy roses. Now I believe that in spite of many sources claiming that Day Lilies do not need much care, they grow much better if fertilized and watered regularly (almost like roses). -
New Tazewell, TN — Leebea Orange Crush bloomed this morning! This is my first year with her in my garden, and I must say I am thrilled with her! I was amazed with the color and the amount of blooms. A must buy!

-
Cleveland, MS — Leebea Orange Crush was the first bonus plant that I received from Oakes Daylilies, and she produced over 50 blooms that initial season. Needless to say, three more plants were acquired later that Fall. They start blooming in May, finish their second cycle in June, and proliferate rapidly in the Mississippi Delta. Simply superb!!

Dacula, GA — This is my favorite daylily. The color is a classy, striking orange, with a deeper orange-red eyezone. I planted these three months ago, and they've flowered like crazy. I just ordered more, along with Plum Perfect to plant in the same flowerbed. Oakes has outstanding quality daylilies, better than any other vendor I've purchased from.

Manhattan Beach, CA — "Orange" doesn't describe it (more like a "blood orange"). Good producer of scapes (and I just planted it late last fall!). Shortie. Good for front of border. Stunning with "South Seas". Highly recommend.
-
Goodlettsville, TN — This could be the favorite daylily I bought last spring. The color is outstanding and the large blooms command attention. It produced many blooms even in that first year, which could be the result of such a generous plant Oakes provided. Can't wait for the second year.

-
