Goodlettsville, TN — Black-Eyed Stella was the first to bloom in our zone 6B garden, with many scapes and has already rebloomed. As other gardeners, we are always eager for the first of the many daylilies to show their welcome face and BES has always rewarded us. Highly recommended.

Fullerton, ND — This daylily has been fantastic in my North Dakota garden. Very prolific bloomer and a real standout!
One of my favorites. -
Bothell, WA — A really prolific, easy to grow beauty. Lights up the whole yard and is full of blooms. In my area it takes a slight rest and then sends out new scapes. I wish all of my plants bloomed this vigorously.
-
sebastopol, CA — What a gorgeous plant! I planted it in a pot in Oct. '05 and it bloomed like crazy the first year, starting May 21 2006 and continuing on and off until late Sept. What lovely color, and pretty green foliage. I counted 142 blooms before I finally gave up counting late in the year. This spring, it started on April 2, and has been blooming profusely since then. One of my absolute favorites. I live 55 miles north of San Francisco, 12 miles inland, Sunset Zone 15

Adairsville, GA — When I ordered this daylily two falls ago, I had to divide it into seven multiple-fan plants. The first summer that they bloomed I thought, “Maybe a 6 or 7”. But after 2 falls and springs in the ground, every plant is larger than my original plant. This summer all of the plants are showing off. Wow, this plant is almost as showy as Stella de Ora. The flowers are not as pretty as some of my other daylilies, but this is definitely a must have. I had to only give it a 9 because of the other awesome daylilies that are avalible.

Gainesville, FL — An amazing constant bloomer. If you dont have this one in your North Florida garden, order it this year. Beautiful color from beginning of spring into winter (we have a few that bloom all year round)!
-
New Philadelphia, OH — I got this plant last year and it bloomed just in time for my Mother's birthday! This year it is beautiful. If you hear that it is not dramatically different then the regular "Stella Dora," don't be fooled. It is well worth putting in your garden. The plant is a strong preformer, however, as far as, reblooming that will have to wait as this will be the first time it will have a chance to do so.
-
Milpitas, CA — I waited so long to get these in the ground I was afraid they wouldn't make it. But they did. A great border along the front walk. Does well for me in summer drought conditions.
-
Kingston, TN — I did not find this plant to be in the same category as Stella de Oro in terms of rebloom. A sad disappointment after all the hype about its similarity to its parent. Nor did I find the color to be dramatic enough with its red, not black, eyezone. A very misleading name.
-
Owensboro, KY — I love this daylily. The color is beautiful and it blooms its scapes off! It has good rebloom too. You can't go wrong with this one!
-
Jacksonville beach, FL — This daylily was one of my first free plants. I liked it so well that I could not belived I recevied it free.It bloomed at least four times the first year.
