Hot Springs, AR — I purchased "Startle" this Spring and it arrived long after my other daylilies had started growing so maybe next year will be better. It is 12" high, put up 1 scape and has had 3 blooms. Now exactly what I expected for a $50 daylily. Colors are washed out and faded, even when it first opens.

Owensboro, KY — Better than a 10. Starle does just that. It startles you with it's beauty. It has everything you could ever want in a daylily; huge blooms, stunning cherry red self, and highlighted by refined gold edges. Perfection. Just to let everyone know though, it will fade in rain as most red daylilies do have a tendancy to do. Don't judge it after a rain.

Breese, IL — This an AMAZING lily. I bought it two yars ago to anchor an herb garden. The herbs have been moved, but lily is still the anchor. It bloomed beautifuly the first year, and last summer gave me twice as many huge, amazing blooms. They do "Startle", but breathtaking is more accurate. I even cut the blooms and float them is a crystal bowl of water to enjoy them for the day. They are spectacular.

Russell, PA — bought last yr. this yr is the first bloom. the color is washed out and blotchy. It could be that the rainy summer is the reason or that it does not get all day sun. Wish I knew?
