Winston-Salem, NC — I got this daylily in late spring of 2007 and it didn't bloom the first season, but I gave it some miracle-gro and watered it regularly during a drought-stricken summer and got some nice healthy green foliage the first year. In summer of 2008, my efforts were rewarded with lovely clusters of rich cotton candy pink blooms that were evenly colored from the center of the flower to the edges. It also held it's color well in the intense North Carolina heat and humidity. It's definitely worth having; if it doesn't bloom the first season, definitely don't despair, because you will reap the rewards the next season and you won't have any second thoughts about it!
