My absolute favorite daylily in my garden. I have this one planted in front of Mancatcher and together, they make such a beautiful display. This is a substantial flower with thick petals. As long as it’s shielded from the harsh afternoon sun, it stays black all day long. It appears to be the blackest of all the dark daylilies I have in my garden. Well worth the price.

This one is new for me this year. I walked by it this morning and it stopped me in my tracks! Wow! It is as dark as this pictures. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely stunning, actually appears black to the eye. Most visitors to our garden notice this one right away, and want it. Ours bloom over about a 5-6 week period. They seem to rebloom right after the first bloom is finishing. More expensive than most daylilies, but truly well worth the price.
