Chorus Line Daylily Features:

Looking for a daylily that does it all? Give ‘Chorus Line’ daylily a try!  This charming daylily is the whole package: one of our 50 Best Sellers, a fantastic bloomer, an outstanding rebloomer, very fragrant, and oh-so-lovely!

Chorus Line has 3 1/2″ blooms and is just 20″ tall— making it a perfect choice for growing in containers if space is tight, or if you just want to add a cheery spot of color somewhere that might not be the greatest spot for in-ground planting. One thing to mention: in some soils, the color skews more coral than blush pink. We think it’s just beautiful either way.

An early season daylily with fantastic rebloom, we typically see the first blooms of Chorus Line around the first of June, then off and on throughout the season. If you are to our north, you’ll see it a bit later than we do here in East Tennessee. If you are to our south, you’ll likely see it a few weeks before us.

An evergreen variety, Chorus Line can be grown in gardens across the country.

HOW TO GROW DAYLILIES: Daylilies are very easy-to-grow. They like a lot of sun and they like a lot of water. For more information on how to care for daylilies, click here.
WHAT DAYLILIES CAN I GROW: Most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter (like zones 9 and 10), dormant varieties won’t work for you; you’ll need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.

BIG PLANTS! When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and bloom more quickly!

FARM-FRESH TO YOU! All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.

BONUS DAYLILIES: We send free daylilies (we call them “bonus” daylilies) with every order. These daylilies are equal to about 20% of your order, you get to choose what you’d like at checkout.

ABOUT US: Oakes Daylilies is a family-owned daylily farm that’s been in business for three generations. Our daylilies grow in home gardens, city parks and botanical gardens across the nation– including Hawaii and Canada. We are known in the industry as Daylily Experts and grow over 1000 varieties of daylilies on nearly 70 acres in East Tennessee. But over 50 years ago, we started just like you—with one daylily in a home garden.

Very healthy daylilies These were planted in April 2022 and they produced blooms in June 2022. Such a pretty Blush pink with yellow throat Its a little more pink than in pic. I’m anxiously awaiting next bloom. I planted these behind my Dynamite Returns and they are beautiful together. I’m expecting next bloom will be deeper in color. Love these.

    JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER

I’m sorry to see that the reviews (including mine) for this lovely lily got wiped out somehow on the Oakes website So, let me reiterate, hopefully with a memory serving me well. I believe i purchased this in fall 2014 and planted it in my SW PA (Zone 6a garden ) and got my first blooms in 2016 I remember being disappointed with the first early blooms as they were somewhat splotchy but I attributed that to being planted it in a bed ringed by concrete next to a concrete driveway facing west and it was too hot I think now, with wisdom, I probably just didn’t water it enough in its infancy I’ve come to learn this is very important with daylilies, and when it says “low care” , I used to take that very literally. Anyway, as that season went on, the blooms looked much healthier and although not prolific, very pleasing color. Skip to summer 2018 All i was doing was really enjoying the chorus and deadheading every single day for a very long season of bloom and beautiful color. Such a delight Mine is a little bit taller, about 2 feet I have a companion planting of lavender at its base and looks lovely It deserves the rewards it got PS- in my crappy soil, a balanced fertilizer goes a long way in the first years
