A dormant daylily, Heavenly Angel Ice performs best in planting zones that get a sustained cold period during the winter. Here in zone 7, we look forward to seeing its big, cheery blooms in our East Tennessee garden each June. If you are to the north of us, you can expect to see it a few weeks after we do. If you are to our south, you can look forward to seeing it a couple of weeks before us.

WHAT DAYLILIES CAN I GROW: Most of you can grow any of the daylilies we sell. If you live in an area with a sustained cold period like we do in East Tennessee, you can grow all the varieties. However, If you live in an area that doesn’t get freezing weather in the winter (like zones 9 and 10), dormant varieties won’t work for you; you’ll need to choose evergreen or semi-evergreen varieties.
BIG PLANTS! When it comes to daylily plants, bigger is better! All of the plants we ship will be three fans or larger — two or three times (or more) what you might receive from other companies. Larger plants get established faster and bloom more quickly!
FARM-FRESH TO YOU! All of your plants will be freshly dug when you order. The leaves are trimmed and the plants are washed and air-dried. Your daylilies will be out of the ground less than 48 hours before they’re headed your way.
BONUS DAYLILIES: We send free daylilies (we call them “bonus” daylilies) with every order. These daylilies are equal to about 20% of your order, you get to choose what you’d like at checkout.

But over 50 years ago, we started just like you—with one daylily in a home garden.

Heavenly Angel Ice is like none of my other daylilies. The photo is from its first year in my garden. I couldn’t believe how well it bloomed!

A beautiful flower in color and form! I LOVE IT! It has grown well and I am looking forward to again seeing an increase of flower scapes next year. This one I will not be sharing for a long time because it is too beautiful. Zone 3 Wisconsin

I was expecting this daylily to be beautiful but it really blew me away. It’s like a lace doilie in your garden. My butterflies also seemed to be especially attracted to this variety.

Like one of the other reviewers, this bloomed a few very pretty blooms in the first couple of seasons, but year 3 it bloomed prolifically and magnificently. I am looking forward to seeing the show this year! I love this daylily, it has exceeded expectations.

Heavenly Angel Ice is the most beautiful daylily I’ve ever seen. But that’s not all. I bought one of these three years ago, and the first year there were a few very lovely blooms, but last year it bloomed and bloomed and BLOOMED! I wished later that I had counted the number of huge, beautiful blooms. I was disappointed that it wasn’t offered in last year’s catalog but am delighted that it is offered again this year. You better believe I’m going to grab one or two or three.
