  Columbia, MO — This is one of my favorite daylilies! I planted it in 2005 and enjoy the blooms every year. The deep purple petals and neon green throat brightens my mornings. I think they are more beautiful in person and the pictures don't do them justice. Colors do fade in the afternoon sun and heat, but it is a hardy plant and will always have a special place in my garden.

  Marion, VA — It's definately a "beacon". It shows up well and has good rebloom. The blooms on mine were 5", not 4". It looks great planted with "Bela Lugosi" and "Golden Gift" daylilies, as well as Gaillardia "Goblin" and Coreopsis "Early Sunrise". The blooms were lighter and the halo more pronounced in the rebloom. Beautiful!

  Woodruff, SC — Outstanding and striking bloom!!! Has a fairly long bloom season, and a good rebloom. Very nice.

  Goodlettsville, TN — My Night Beacon looks exactly like the picture and is especially stunning in the garden. I've only had it a couple years, and I did plant it in a partially shaded area to protect the color, and that may be why it has not had as many scapes as some others. However, it is a true keeper for the unbelievable combination of striking colors.

  Columbus, WI — Yes, exactly like the picture! One of my top 3 favs of the 14 varieties I have, and the only dark purple. I moved it from a full sun location to the east side of my house, and the purple holds much better. Super pretty before noon, when the large chartreuse throat really shines like the beacon it's named for. Even at the end of the day, still a very pretty flower, though the throat has faded to yellow. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different & striking.

  Galva, IL — This is a WOW daylily. Exactly like the picture. Blooms are larger this year and once in awhile it will put out a triangle shaped one. Amazingly hardy for such a distinct patterned plant. It has it all.

  West Babylon, NY — Night Beacon is certainly that! Its eye glows from the center of deep darkness, casting a beacon of light in the garden. True to the photo, it is just as beautiful!

  Kansas City, MO — I have had mixed results with this one. Two plants just ten feed apart and one does quite well and the other has trouble setting and maintaining its blooms. The one that does bloom has beautiful blooms but not very prolific.

  Mechanicsville, MD — A very striking and show stopping daylily. The chartreuse throat is very pronounced against the dark purple. I have had many nice comments on this daylily. Some people have even asked if it is a daylily. A must for the garden.
