7" bloom, 28" tall, Mid Season, Dormant

The quintessential example of a "classic" spider (defined as having petals 5 times as long as they are wide). Makes a great display in the garden, with lots of big, colorful blooms. Good, also, as a contrast to more traditionally shaped varieties.
Price $9.95 each, 3 for $27.95

Goodlettsville, TN — I agree with each of the previous reviews. Kindly Light is a truly outstanding daylily. Even planted next to another yellow, due to its form and size, is spectacular. We have a few hundred daylilies, but have given space to three of this variety, grown in different sections of the garden.

Oak Lawn, IL — Stunning! In its first year Kindly Light is putting on quite a show. Multiple simultaneous blooms on a relatively small first-year plant. The petals are like yellow ribbons with a hint of gold -- not as rigid as those shown here. The blooms are every bit of 7 inches in diameter.

Portland, ME — The most fun you can have with a daylily! A star of the garden every year. Holds its own with strong colors.

Blakely, GA — One of my absolute favorites of all-time! I didn't order this daylily - I received it as a free bonus with an order, and I immediately fell in love with this one. Now I wouldn't want to live without it in my garden! I highly recommend Kindly Light!
