Cleveland, MS — Definitely a pirate queen of sorts... This one sways seductively in the breeze - blooming from June through mid-July (in zone 8b). She's sited in full sun (for now), and metamorphoses from an attractive purple to a puckered-up merlot color through-out the day. I have ordered more to enjoy in different settings!!

The Villages, FL — I wish my Barbary Corsair would do a little better. I love their fine, purple color, but not all of my 3 plants bloom and then when they do, they only put out about one or two flowers at a time. They do rebloom, but again only with one or two flowers. I just fertilized them. Maybe they need more TLC. I'll keep trying. They are sweet little things.

Columbus, OH — So far this lovely little lily gets a 10. I just planted it in May and I can't believe it's already blooming, as are several new ones I planted then. The purple is lovely and velvety with a bright green throat - a really nice contrast. The petals do curl a little in the heat but the color holds.

Woodruff, SC — Cute small blooms, lots of bloom and re-bloom. Excellent color, and the blooms are held well above the foliage.

Houston, TX — This charming flower really stands out in my new daylily garden. It was planted mid-April and its first blooms opened today. They look exactly like the photo and the color is holding up spectacularly well, even in full, blazing Texas sun! It looks outstanding next to yellows.

Glen Rose, TX — This daylily is stunning with the nearly fluorescent throat, although the bloom is slightly more a merlot color as opposed to the somewhat lighter purple depicted. Wonderful just the same.

Wesley Chapel, FL — Beautiful violet blooms with yellow-green throat. Bloom mid-June, does well with unimproved wet soil.
